Bio-Gene DNA specializes in high marker DNA tests with rapid processing times Your results will be emailed to you so you don’t have to wait for postal service to deliver them and you can rest assured that they are 100% accurate based on the DNA samples we receive from you.

We would like to strongly recommend for both speed and cost reduction to consider the Make Your Own Kit option if you are ordering from outside of the United States. The accuracy of your testing results are not affected in any way by using regular “Q-tip” cotton swabs, or even samples such as a toothbrush, nail clippings, or hair (rrots attached), as opposed to the buccal swabs which are included in our Bio-Gene DNA Test Kit. Due to both international shipping times and costs, this option could save you a week or longer (depending on your location) while waiting for the kit(s) to arrive, as well as the cost associated with international shipping from our company to your address. Below is a list of questions has been compiled to make it easier for you to find out the information you need. We hope you will find useful.

What currency do you charge in?

ALL payments are processed in US Dollars. If you do not bank in US Dollars, your card issuer will make the conversion to your local currency. The exchange rate on which this is completed will be set by your card issuer and we have no control over this.

Do you accept PayPal?

Yes, in most cases. There are some countries where we cannot offer PayPal, however the majority of our customers can pay via PayPal. If Paypal is not an option for you, payments may be made via credit or debit cards, We do not accept cash, check, or money order payments.

How do I place an order?

You can order the DNA test(s) that you need by selecting the choice of your test on the order form and then completing the information requested. If you choose to order a DNA kit, them please indicate that selection, or choose the Make Your Own Kit option (recommended).

When you have selected the items you require, click the Send button which is on the bottom of the form. You will then be taken to the payment screen for finalization of your order.

Can a friend place an order for me or can I pay for a friend’s order?

We appreciate that sometimes due to the language barrier or particular personal and/or privacy issues you may want to do one of the following:

Place an order in your name and ship it to a friend
Place an order in your name, but pay with a friend’s card
Place an order in your friend’s name, pay with their card, and have it shipped to you

It is always best if you can not order or pay for it yourself, to have a friend or other family member involved in ordering. However, if you have another person place the order on your behalf, they must order it in their name and paying with their card and shipping it to their address.

If a friend does order and pay on your behalf, you should then sort out the payment and delivery between the two of you. Bio-Gene DNA Testing cannot be responsible for this aspect of the order.

Can I ship to an alternative address?

Yes, we do offer delivery to an alternative address if this is what you wish.

Can I track my shipment?

Not all shipments can be tracked. Tracking will depend on the delivery method used. We still insure the package against loss or damage. If you have your tracking number click one of the appropriate link below to track your package:

*For international shipments, please note that unfortunately it is normal for the message on the USPS website to remain the same until the package has been delivered for shipments outside of the USA.

Can you declare an item as a gift?

We can not declare the item as a gift for customs. We have to ship items with a commercial invoice; therefore all items will be marked as commercial goods. All DNA testing kits will be marked with a value of $1.00.

Can you use other couriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL etc)?

We do not offer facilities for mail to be sent with other couriers unless you have an account with them and can arrange for them to collect the package(s). In this instance you will need to contact us to arrange this, prior to placing the order.

I haven’t received my order, what can I do?

If you have not received your order, but have had confirmation of your DNA kit being sent, you should allow the time period stated in the confirmation email to pass before putting a claim on the shipment. After such times, if you can not contact the shipper directly, please contact us and we will investigate the delay for you. Please allow 21 working days for delivery (it can depend on what country you are shipping to and the specific address). We can are unable to accept claims for lost or undelivered packages until 21 working days have passed, from date of sending the kit. Of a 7 day week, 5 of those 7, are classed as working days, excluding national holidays. After 21 working days, if the package has still not arrived we will ship a replacement package. If we can provide proof of delivery of a package, a replacement shipment will not take place.
