Control Samples

A control sample of your DNA will be required in order to determine if the DNA specimen in question is from another male or female. If the DNA profile does not match yours, you will have indisputable scientific confirmation.

Sample Testing

All Infidelity DNA Tests require at least one item of evidence and a known reference or control sample. For privacy and confidentiality, all Infidelity DNA Test samples will be collected as a “Make Your Own DNA Kit”.

Collecting Evidence

To collect the evidence and prepare it for shipping, simply place the item in a paper bag or envelope. Do not use a plastic bag. Seal the envelope or paper bag with tape.

Include a Reference or Control Sample

By submitting a DNA reference or control sample from yourself, we can determine if the DNA detected belongs to you or another individual. Adding a reference sample is included with the price of the test. Simply swab each cheek with a cotton swab (“Q-tip”) for 20 to 30 seconds. When finished, include the cotton swabs in a new paper envelope marked Reference or Control sample.
