Amniocentesis – Amniocentesis is done in most cases between 14 and 20 weeks. The amniotic fluid, which contains cells shed by the fetus, is sent to the laboratory for analysis and is compared to a DNA sample from the possible father(s) to conclusively determine paternity.
What is included: One Amniocentesis Prenatal Paternity Test, USPS Priority shipping of a Journey Genetic Testing DNA prenatal collection kit, detailed collection instructions, a FedEx prepaid overnight return mailer for your DNA samples, all lab processing fees, and results from our AABB accredited testing laboratory. You are responsible for any medical costs apart from what we provide.
Who is included: One mother and one suspected father to test fetal DNA to determine paternity while pregnant. Additional father’s may be added to the testing for an additional fee.
When you will receive it: USPS Priority mail usually arrives within the USA in 1-3 business days, depending on your location.
When your results will be ready: 3 – 7 business days after the lab receives all of the DNA samples. Expedited 3 business day results are available at an additional charge as shown on the order form.
Payment Options: We offer several ways to pay when you order a paternity DNA test. You can choose to pay with a credit or debit card, and PayPal.
